Republicans Symbol Welcome to Republicans Abroad
working for Americans overseas

More than six million Americans live abroad - a number larger than the populations of 24 states in the Union... Republicans Abroad represents and works to protect the interests of overseas Americans on a wide range of issues. Republicans Abroad mobilizes the support of Americans overseas to support Republican candidates in US elections.

Membership in Republicans Abroad provides a unique opportunity for Americans living overseas to communicate their concerns to Republican leaders in Washington. Republicans Abroad has fought for issues of concern to Americans abroad like repatriation issues, strong support of Section 911 foreign earned income exemption, anti-terrorism legislation, fair trade policies, and the inclusion of the expatriate population in the United States Census.

Speech on the Economic Crisis

..."We must also never lose sight of the enormous benefits delivered by the free enterprise system. Despite corrections in the marketplace and instances of abuse, democratic capitalism remains the greatest system ever devised. It allows individuals to rise as high in their societies as their talents and ambition will take them. It rewards hard work, intelligent risk-taking, and the entrepreneurial spirit. Around the world, free market policies have lifted millions of people out of poverty, and given them the opportunity to build a more hopeful life. And here at home, it has given our large and dynamic economy the flexibility and resilience to absorb shocks, adjust, and bounce back stronger."
